Hi,

I today received my 8gb (4 x 2gb) G.skill memory.

They can be found here:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122

I have an Intel BOXD975XBX2KR running an E6600.

After installing the memory, I got a BSOD entering windows. I then had to reboot the computer three times before it would POST.

I went into the BIOS and lowered the memory from their stock 800mhz down to 667mhz and now they are running fine.

Could it be one bad stick not wanting to run at 800mhz? Something with the mobo? Computer? Any advice welcome. Thanks in advance.

have you already tried testing each stick with memtest? maybe you need to manually set your correct voltages/timings.
and maybe give the nb a little more voltage.

Four sticks will tax the mobo a bit, but you shouldn't have to up the NB voltage if you're not overclocked. Make sure you set the correct voltage for the sticks, check the sticker on the ram itself, the bios default is generic. And definitely try booting with only one stick, see if that works.
