I've heard people say not to mix copper and aluminum waterblocks in the same setup. But why? I'm using a water additive called Purple Ice that is supposed to protect the system from whatever.

Is using a copper waterblock and several aluminum waterblocks really going to be a problem. I ask because I have made several aluminum waterblocks for the video card, northbridge, and hard drives.

Any hard data?

should be fine as long as you use some kinda corosive additive as you said Purple ice :D
