my 8500 is dead. a powersurge fryed my old powersupply and my radeon along with it.
i contacted ati and im going to get it rma'ed but its giong to take like 20 days for me to get it back :(
back to my old radeon for now i guess

I forgot to take pics of the final product because I got tired and had to go to the drug store to buy bandaids, :) but they looked like the ramsink on the right, the sink on left is a Copper ramsink not yet converted to a silversink.

I should have charged you a band aid blood fee of $3 :p

Two things, One the cat was sniffing for anthrax and not a bomb.

The second is dont forget to blow those ramsinks off with canned air....I ran out and you dont want to invite silver dust to the inside of your pc.

dont have any compressed air, i ran out the other day, lol

and anthrax? why would i use that? anthrax an be cured, it would make more sence to send an incurable disease ;)

Water will work fine. Just dry them off with a hairdryer.

Not worried about you sendin me Anthrax but for cross contamination :(

bah, im not worried about that, my dad is like super paranoid about that stuff, i make it a point to open a package in front of him and inhale the air inside just to freak him out :p
