I upgraded nero 5.53 to 5.56 and it wacked the thing . Locks on the scan it does when you first start up nero.It wouldnt let me unistall it thru add/remove so I did a somewhat dirt uninstall,did use regcleaner so I believe it is cleaned out.Anybody have this prob before?

I do not believe nero 5.53 or nero 5.56 exist.

I use Nero Burning ROM 5.5.10.56 and have not had problems.

You may have had an installation flaw. Try doing the process again. If the same thing happens, maybe you have a bad download of the update.
