folding setup

Is there a way to set up the folding program so it wont compete with the logging on process??As it stands right now, When I log on the net with my trusty 56k modem ,it takes up to ten min to get a screen what with all the stuff thats trying to set up all at the same time. If there was a way to make it wait just ten min say ,I think it would be smoother and faster to log on.Also it seems my f@h appears to be stuck. it's taking in work but not sending out,or at least not giving credit to me, as far as I can tell.Any help would be great......thanks.... tr

have you tried closing folding while you log on, then once you're connected, opening it and letting it send and receive?

That's what I had to do under the old client.

the new client 2.15 and 2.17 shouldn't need this now, run the graphical client in the tray, and make sure display isn't running or the screensaver then it will be fast!! ;)
