Asus P5K(possibly others) Strange Text During Boot
When I boot to Vista 64 using the rig in sig I see some kind of text referring to the GDLDR and "Reseting the boot drive". Its no big deal BUT I have found it is related to a BIOS setting. Seems when I enable the 1.44M floppy controller(even if no floppy connected) this text doesnt appear. I am unable to screen shot it as it goes by in just a few seconds before seeing the little scroll bar. Has anyone else noticed this happening?? Any idea what it is and perhaps some way to get rid of it without being forced to enable the floppy drive?? I dont have a floppy installed so there is no point to having the controller enabled. Wonder if anyone else has seen this and has some work around. THX
