I got Deus Ex w/ my AudigyXgamer and have been playing nonstop ever since. i have beaten the single player game 3 times. it is now my favorite game of all time. I can not wait till the sequel. Anybody else here like this wonderful game? the only bad thing is that it ahs a high learning curve being it not your typical first person shooter. it took me a few hours to figure out wtf i was doing:cool:

Deus Ex was a great game. I couldn't agree with you more. I'm gonna play it again soon by killing only the three people necessary to win. They are that cyborg woman, gunther (I think hi name was, i haven't played it in a while, but i'm talking about the cyborg guy), and i'm not sure who the last person is. anyway, it's a great game.

Oh God, YES! I loved Deus Ex! One of the best FPS I ever played! SOOoooo good! I loved how it made you think, and you had to be all tactical. I loved the whole sniping thing, and the augs and weapon mods, and I especially loved how you could lean AND fire! (not like Wolfenstien, where you can only lean OR shoot.) It was, by far, the GREATEST FPS EVER!! I don't care what anyone says, Deus beats Half-Life, it beats Wolfenstien, it beats Counterstrike, it beats Aliens vs. Predator 2. It is the KING OF THE FPS!!!

Yeah it's a kewl game. Much better than half life. C.S. was aight, but I for the most part thought H.L. sucked.

It wouldn't be hard, just use non-lethal takedowns. Sometimes though, it's easier to just kill 'em from a distance with the sniper rifle.

altho not as much eye candy as some of the other games, it was among one of my favorites for plotline and actually putting you in the game.

halflife, rtcw, oposing force, unreal, and deus ex being the ones that actually put me into the game, rather than just a shottem-up ::kill everyone on the level then move on to the next one, rinse and repeat:: style game.

for looks, it wasn't all that. however, the gameplay and semi-roleplay type style that let you upgrade and such more than made up for it.

i thought the multiplayer deus-ex sucked royally... as far as replayability, counterstrike still owns hands down. rtcw isn't really much fun in multiplayer, either. if rtcw had the same game dynamics in the multiplayer as it did in the single player (guns and such), i think it coulda given cs a run for it's money.

Loved the game, definitely, but I had gripes with the engine. I had some serious slowdowns whenever there were sprites, playing with a GeForce3 in 1024x768x32bit with Quicunx AA. I wasn't happy about that, but definitely a great gaming experience.
