im probly gonna buy a 1800+, but i wanna know whats a good stepping first?
and how far do u think i could get it oc's at with 1.92vcore?
thanks
Not sure of the best, but thus far, according to the majority, the AGKGA-Y is the best (and most common). This stepping is spread across most of the XP models and seems to be topping out at right around 1.8GHz.
The XPs I got in today are both AGNGA-Y...ugly sounding. Don't plan on overclocking them though.

yea, ill probly buy from newegg.com if they would take a check..
cuz my moms cc is full and she cant pay them for another 2-3 weeks.. so ill call newegg and see what stepping 1800+ they have.. and such.. :)
I've got and "AGOGA-Y" 1600+ and it does pretty good. I've had it at 1680 (160*10.5), right now at 1625 (203*8)
I've been playing with the infamous Epox "BETA BIOS" lately and have gotten the FSB to 200+, RAM has taken a pretty good hit with the 3/4 divider though.
This thing runs great, SETI times down to the low 3hr range with it.
Good Luck!
