I have tried 3 different bios... reset cmos with pulling out battery...

The board used to run 400x9 on my q6600 no problem at all... now it will save the setting but when it boots up is runs @ 9x267... I go intothe bios and all the overclocked settings were saved it just won't run the higher fsb...

Help! ideas?

i had the same problem with mine. I ended up pulling the battery for a few minutes and it cleared the cmos and it worked again. I do it like this.. Turn off PC. Unplug power cord, press power button til all power is drained and then pull the batt for maybe a few minutes. put it back together and try again.

As a final act of desperation I put a jumper on the clear cmos pins without taking out the battery and it worked. Go figure!
