I am going nuts!
I have 3 winme boxes and 1 win2k pro box(my main),I can see them all on all 4 boxes,I can get internet through my router/switch on all 4 just fine,I can even share and copy and move files and folders from and to my main(win2k) box, butwhenever I try to access a drive or printer share from the other three(winme) boxes(network places),it says
"you must supply a password to make this connection"
how do I give each box a password?to access my main win2k box?I have tried everything!
Basically you need to give each Windows me box a separate
account on win2k box.
Meaning chose a user name and password For each Me box, then setup a logon account in w2k with the user name and password
chosen for that Me box. Also logon to the w2k box first then logon the other three so that w2k can see that the others have been logged on.

Or you could just enable the guest account on the win2k box, that option is hard to find in win2k though  Takes some searching.
Enableing the guest account is not a good idea. With the guest account enabled people on the internet Could more easly get into your computers.

Its reasonably safe if you do it right. Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP and of course use a firewall.
And make sure the guest account has a password!!! That part is V. Important!!
