I've got a shim and some other stuff coming in, but I need some help :

1/ Do I have to take the little circle rubber thingies off of my XP to use my shim.

2/ How do I put on a thermal sensor ?Any places on the net with diagrams ?

although Ive never used a shim...

1) yes

2) you have to cut a channel through the shim..here read this thread (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=57811)

thanx for the pic .but again I ask will the rubber circles prevent proper seating of the shim cause u make it sound optional to move them.
