Hello. I started having problems with my Fatal1ty (PCI) interface under Vista64* so I went out and got the Titanium (PCIe) model.

* Repeatable BSODs under a tight set of circumstances, which became more frequent, and I've ruled out every other option.

Installing from the CD went normally, but after the final reboot, despite AutoUpdate sensing the Fatal1ty Titanium drivers, the sdound drivers being used are Microsoft's; "High Definition Audio Device" showing up in Vista's hardware manager and using Microsoft's drivers.

Am I the only person with Creative's new PCIe card that's having this problem?

I have this card and I currently have only small specific problems with software such as when im on the "console launcher" the screen kind of blinks in and out. Also I am having problems figuring out "dolby live". If I just use the card normally though I have no problems.

Thx for responding!

Weird. My console launcher claims no compatible devices were found.

Are you using Vista 64-bit?

Update: Removing all the CL software and drivers, including deleting the High Def device in Device Manager, rebooting, and reinstalling fixed everything. Weird... that might work for you too...
