So I finally got my 4 gigs of OCZ model # OCZ2RPR800C44GK ram in the mail: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227267haven't had a chance to test it yet but the problem is it doesn't look like this:
http://www.komplett.co.uk/img/p/400/343070.jpg
instead it has 1 silverish ( not gold like in the picture ) tube connecting to the top heat sink thingy. Is this some kind of new cheaper model or something I should be concerned about? It shares the same model #, thanks in advance for any feedback.
*update* seeing all the customer reviews, I see everyones complaining about these new aluminum pipes connecting the heat spreader, so my new question is..does anything think this is less effective then the original design and merely a money saving scheme?
