I am running two old SATA150 drives right now on Raid0. When I build my new current system, I didn't upgrade. Those two drives are the only ones in my system and I use two external eSATA for backup. Basically those two internal SATA drives are for windows and temp downloads. I move what I need to keep safe to my externals.

I want to upgrade to two SSD drives, maybe two 32gb or maybe two 64gb. I am not to familiar with this drives and why some are more expensive than others. I want to go SSD drives because my current system is build on silence and want to move to SSD drives because right now the only thing I hear are my regular SATA drives spinning and accessing.

Are some for laptops and others for desktops? Which ones are the most common to date that people are buying to do a RAID0 setup? I see that some encounter delayed write errrors, does this always happen with SSD drives? Can you partition SSD Drives when they are in a RAID0? Thanks for taking the time to help out with these questions.

So no one has any advice on a RAID0 setup with SSD's, are they not good enough at this point? Should I just get two WD Carviar Black WD6401AALS?

Anything for a new RAID0 setup with new drives will be an improvement to what I have now because my RAID0 with my Two Maxtor 120 GB RAID0 drive setup only give me about 80 MB\s transfer rate right now testing with Sandra. My eSATA enclosures with the Samsung SATA drive give me 69 MB\s individually.
