I would have to say the 1500. Runs cooler and has SSE. Now the 1600 seems to be the best overclocker of all XP's, that is what I would get if you can spend the xtra $. As far as cooling goes it really depends how much noise you can stand. If that is not a factor the MCX462 or Alpha 8045 would be the best. If you want quieter cooling I would suggest the Glacier 2.

go w/ the 1500 xp because the 1500 means that it would compare to a tbird 1500 ifg there was one, it would be the equivelent if there was one, get my drift?
