Just got my 4870 1g installed, went pretty smooth, figured I'd play some crysis & then ran some benchmarks.

well this is all i can get, if i go to 965 on memory clock i start to get artifacts. i'll have to game for awhile to see if its stable where its at.

Thats what i would think, but it won't. I'm hoping maybe when in water loop it will be better, but I'm not counting on it.

The 1g models have a very hard surpassing 1000mhz vs the 512mb ver I have which I have gotten up to 1250 with ease run at 1100 24/7 though, any higher showed no improvements, just a rise in temps.

This is with the 8.12 drivers, little better.
