You should have a 'As far as possible'
option :)

+1 on that.

As far as possible. Depends on the chip really. My E8600 would only do a 57% OC(5200MHz) but my E6400 would do a 100% OC(4266MHz) with ease.

Push them until the CPU starts to smoke then back off 5%. Just kidding! Push them as far as you can. I had my E6400 at 4ghz on phase, so anything is possible unless your phase unit breaks like mine did. :soda:

Haha. You spend so much time insulation, assembling it and getting it to work, and you don't oc it??? Not to forget the money spend and running cost...
Even those who have a $10 air cooler wants to oc....
:bang head:screwy::confused::eek:

Never did phase cool, but isn't it to go to super O/C, as far a you can push your chip?
So yea, as far as you can go.

What ever the cooling system is, you would still want to push it as far as you can right? Even on a stock intel hs? :santa:

As a long time runner of phase i would always push it as far as possible. I can't see any point in running it uless you do.
tru true, at the price you pay for phase cooling you might as well make it call worthwhile and get double your original speed
LOL who were the people who said 0%

I would OC my e2180 all the way up to 2600MHz i think.. IF I had phase change cooling.
On air I am scared to run it stock....
j/k  Ihave pushed 90% on air cooling :) on phase I would go for 200%

Why can't I select something higher than 'greater than 90%'?

I've OC'd my Intel E8400 to 3.8ghz on the stock hs and temps are still low.
I would push it to the max and then some. It ain't overclockin unless somethin breaks or catches on fire!
When the oscillations in the silicon become audible, it's been pushed far enough

Whoa, I can't hear crap with my phase running. Although I do use a rotary.

Must be my aging eyes, but I don't see that option..

Easy.... 90% + If it can't hold the 90%+ then its time for a new chip ;)
If I can do 50%+ on air, I better well hit over 90% on Phase.

It would depend on what load the unit was tuned to and the CPU in question.

There are sooooooo many variables this has no answer really. I would push it as far as the chip allowed.

Seems like the point of a phase change system is to push it as far as it'll go, whatever that might be.
Why on earth would you phase change something and then do a 20% overclock?

>90% if possible :)
i think i am at 160%+oc and i dont have ac.....yet...

depends on how many stages there are, just one maybe 70% but a nice 42 stage at 2 kelvin 400% :D
