Hi guys,
I just went out and bought another 9600GT for my PC, i posted earlier about what i should do but the card was going cheap anyways.
So I plugged it in, hooked up all the power and the SLI bridge thing, fire up vista, first off all my Screen kept flashing and going blank for several seconds at a time, once all that had stopped happening the computer completely locked up and I had to force restart.
OK second attempt I fired it up and the first thing on start up was Driver Installation for 9600GT, so finally it recognized the card after a harsh lock up.
Heres the annoying thing, it locked up again as soon as the installation finished. I had to force restart again.
OK up and running again, I thought it might have just been acting up because of vista so i let it slide and got on with what i was doing.
Now i get a warning message saying This Computer is Ready for SLI but not Enabled, Click this balloon to enable SLI, i did and what a surprise first Nvidia Control panel crashed, then Sidebar, then Explorer. Everytime I tried to start up Task manager it would freeze up and crash itself, so now everytime i start up my computer the slightest little crash and the full system freezes up and needs to be restarted.
Can someone please enlighten me on what the hell is happening :bang head
