4870x2 problem w/card or w/me?

Card works well with playing video, cooling at 50% never gets the card above 46C yet when I go to play any games it always loads the intor movie then all I get is several horizontal lines of multi-colored blocks for about 1 min then the computer automaticaly restarts?

have u checked your memory, i remember similar things happening with my dual corsair 2 gig sticks (6400), ran memtest and it showed them to be faulty. memory errors is known to cause graphical and texture defects.

Or switch back to the last known stable driver (5.9)

this will test the stability of ur card i usually do a 1 night run of all my hardware once a month (since system is heavily oc)

Thank you for the davice, it did show one of the ram moduals as having faults now I just have to run the rest on each to find out which one it is. I do hope this is the reason :).
