Synchronous or Asynchronous

I have a Radeon 7000/VE with 64mb of ddr memory, so far I have upped it from 166.5/166.5 to 181/181 with powerstrip. My question is, is it ok to run the memory higher while keeping the core back or was the card made to be synchronous?

no, you can run the way you prefer.

Radeons like to be run Synchronous. You can run them out of synch, but they don't tend to like it much.
