View Full Version : Antec 850 Quatro is it enough?
I currently have 2 8800gt in sli, but I want to upgrade later in the future and was wondering would it be able to power two 260 gtx or even two 280 gtx?

Antec 850 Quatro
8800 GT Sli
E8600 @ 4.ghz
OCZ 8500 @ 800mhz(for now) 4g
EVGA 750i
1 320 HD
1 DVD/RW
Im a bit curious, I mean there are people that view this thread but leave no comments. I'm not trying to be rude, but a quick answer will benefit me greatly.
This is a serious post and i'm a complete noob with psu.

Patience brother, people want to post when they have the experience with your product. Antec has a power supply calculator on their site to guestimate the power you would need. I have the Quattro 1000 watt and it powers way more than I need. I wanted to future-proof my rig setup also. IMOA I think it will work just fine. These are great power supplies.

i only have a 800 and i could handle my single 260 gtx but for anything more you would need a higher.. the 260 gtx requires two 6 pin connectors and the 280 requires one 6 pin and one 8 pin so you need to make sure your psu has these available.
