is there going to be any dual, quad, or more processor boards for the P4? I just wanted to know. I would not consider the Xeon a P4 so you all know, I look at it as a wicked P3. this is because of all the reading I have done points me to that conclusion. But if anybody has heard anything, let me know please.
The P4 processors are uniprocessor (single only).
I though the Itaniums were the next "Xeon" processors for dual systems (and they were eventually enabling the Norwood processors)?? i am certainly no P4 expert, I'm learning as I go :p

Check your 1st thread. Try not to make multiple posts on the same question.
Itaniums are Intel's 64-bit proc line for servers meant to compete w/ the Alpha..and whatevr 64-bit proc there are. Other than the unhappy people using it, that's about all I know 'bout that.

Those are P4 Xeon processors based on the .13u core. The Prestonia is the P4 Xeon equivalent to the standard P4 Northwood.
