Nvmax is a great utility (http://www.voodoofiles.com/2597)

Yes it is First get yourself a program called TNT Clk or better Powerstrip.
Then u increase the frequency of cards memory adn core but not more then 5MHz each @ once!!
Then start 3DMark and do some benchmarks
If everythin went fne no some anomalies or lock ups go and increase another 5 MHz..
If ya need more help just ask
cheers

don't forget the "Coolbits" registry hack.

let's you overclock right from the display CP

I've found this to be the best method of all the ones that I have tried.

Any and all of these progs should work fine.

I like NVMax myself.

RivaTuner is also an alternative.

Artifact tester5 is also a cool program to determine the cards stability:

I dont know about Artifact tester 5. I mean, its a good program, but i was using it recently and it gave me some weird results. I know for a fact that my memory will not do over 520mhz without displaying artifact in 3dmark2k1. But with AT5, i could increase my memory to 540mhz without a single DX Artifact. I'd go with a more visual approach on stability. Trial and error is the best way.

I agree with Exile..tweak then test it -play some 3d games long,do some benchmarks watch carefully..then tweak again and again...if it locks up or u notice some s#1t go back few MHz and test again..but some 3D appz and gamez 3dMark also are the best to start with..

some times you can only get a little speed from o/c it like me i tried to overclock my card but it didnt give me much more power because my memory sucks a** when it comes to o/c it. but in other cases you can get a lot more power. It depends on the card. I think that you could find somehting on voodoofiles.com
Am i right guys? But remember dont burn it!!!

A good deal of the oc can come from system bios tuning to get the highest fsb speed.
