Whenever I shutdown my computer and remove the PSU power cord my BIOS settings would reset.
Does this mean that my BIOS battery is dead/faulty? If so where can I buy a new one

It's a button cell or coin cell, usually CR2032, CR2025, CR2325, or CR2320 (look at your old battery to get the CR number). It's a standard battery type, should be available at any computer store, computer service shop, or pharamacy.

you can even get the battery from wallmart or target, just make sure you get the one your board needs.
Best buy would probably charge you $75 for it. I'd try walmart first then pharmacy.

umm a watch battery will never get that costly. that is basicly what the mobo uses to keep cmos settings, is a watch battery. most is $2-$3 for one and BB doesnt carry them...
$75 was an exaggeration to show how Best buy ironically has some of the worst prices around. But, to clarify for the OP, these batteries do not cost $75.
