I need to get another gpu for my HTPC because the sound (5.1) on the gpu burnt out and no longer works
my set up
abit IP35-e
e6300 cpu
ATI 2600 pro pci-e
30 gb internal hd
2.5 TB externals
I’m using a dvi to hdmi converter that caries sound and vid to the tv and i have been having problems with the sound now for about a week with it coming on and off and now its just off, so im thinking the sound part of the card took a dump. I’m looking for a pci-e gpu with integrated sound with a hdmi port so I only need to hook one cable (no adaptors) to the TV (sony HD 46 inch LCD)i found this page and the gpu that landshark used would be great but new egg doesn’t have it any more
