depends on how high you want to overclock and how high your system can stay stable with a high FSB. Personaly i just raise the FSB, that does all the overclocking i need

eh?

unlocking the cpu is up to you. But keep in mind that the higher the fsb the faster the cpu and everything esle will run. For example if you could drop the multi. down to 10.5 and the fsb to 166 and get it to boot, that would be a better oc, because then everything in the computer is running at 166 fsb

10.5*166 is only 1743 mhz

right sonny! the higher the fsb the better. the cpu may only be running at 1743 but everything attached to the motherboard will be running at 166 fsb, so everything will be sped up.

It really depends what you use your puter for.

a. CPU intensive then multiplier would be the way to go;

b. Overall performance gain then FSB would be better;

c. I'm totally wrong & everyone is just being nice enough to let me fall on my face:D
