Hi. I need a cheap PSU for a new budget build I'm working on. I found this: http://www.buy.com/prod/corsair-400w-cx-series-12v-atx-80-plus-certified-power-supply/q/loc/101/209253909.html
has anybody ever heard of the CX before? I know Corsair generally makes some of the best PSUs, but I've never heard of this one before? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks cmichaelt. That doesn't tell me if it's any good though.
Kind of off topic RollingThunder ;), but it's awesome. I ended up spending a bit more than I was planning, but it was worth every penny. Not a single dead pixel but there is some back light bleed on the top and bottom. The colors are the best I've ever seen on any LCD monitors (once set right), the contrast is great (I'm able to see things I never new existed in some games :)) and there's no ghosting whatsoever. Of course the cosmetics are nice as well ;).

BBB,
Thanks for the report on your T220. I caught it in your sig and didn't want you to get away before asking about it.
Corsair CX400: It's an interesting small unit and to be honest, I have never seen anything from Seasonic that was "bad." For what it is and what it's designed for, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I needed it.
I'm sure somewhere down the line the pros will test it and it will meet the expectations we expect from Seasonic.

if you are that worried get the 450VX unit or even the EA430 or EA500. after looking on newegg the EA's are more costly then the CX or VX.
