I need help with my monitor....Please

Well I just got a Samsung SyncMaster 955DF and I like it but it donsnt work for low res. like 640x480 for some reason so I cant play starcraft....You cant can screen size for starcraft how did you do it? When i try to play it makes like two frames the top one is about 25% of the screen and the botom is 75% and in both "frames" its the same thing and they over lap and its just ****ed up and almost imposible to play with it like that
I called them today and they said they been getting a few calls about it and they werent sure what the problem was and they said they couldnt promise anything. They said they would call me back in a few days.

Check the stats on the monitor.. If it claims it can do that res, which it should if its new.. then I would think you may have gotten a bad monitor... Which they should have to replace unless you got it as is....

If it says it can and obviouslly cant, have you checked to see if it was the video card? Hook another monitor up to it and see if it still does it... if it does, more than likely just the vid, if not... Id check into getting the mon replaced...
