Does XP come with

Does Windows XP come with anything to format my hard drive? Tomorrow I'll be getting the full version of it and will be installing it. Just wanted to know what all comes with it.

turn you computer off and put the CD in then boot it will say to boot from cd press any key...then when you get in there it will tell you what partion your using and give you the option to delte the partion and reformat the hd or just install leaving everything in tact

How do I just get rid of Windows 98S.E., but keep everything else.

You back up what you wanna keep and then format. XP will always always ALWAYS work better w/ a fresh install.

The XP boot disks also have the ability to fdisk and format.
I think you can get them at www.bootdisk.com

I tend to boot off an Me bootdisk and then just delete the windows partition. the XP install will make a partition for XP.
