There are any number of articles on how to put a blowhole into a case, usually using a big (and loud) fan. Since both my wife and I smoke, positive case pressure would be a big plus for keeping my system clean.

What I am thinking of doing is to take a pair of good heat sinks and making a sandwich with a peltier in between them. Then I would mount the assembly at the top of the case where a blowhole would normally be. The Peltiers would be flush with the outer casing and I would have a quieter 80mm fan on each heat sink.

Has anyone here tried something like this?

People have tried and failed, Pelts just don't work well for cooling air. They're really intended for spot cooling of components.
