Finding Hose Barbs

I'm looking for a place to get a bunch of 3/8 hose barbs. There was a thread not long ago that had a link to an online stor that had all sorts of barbs but I cant find it. The local home depot is always out of the correct size and they charge to much so I thought I would buy a bunch and be done with it.

Got an Ace hardware in town? I stopped there once on a whim, they had a bunch more than the Depot ever thought of.

Ace Hardware has always had plenty of different barbs and there should be one nearly anywhere in the U.S. I can't remember exact prices, but I don't remember even flinching at whatever I did pay for them so it couln't have been much.

Lowe's seems to have the largest variety for me, only problem is customers are forever putting the barbs back in the wrong container, but whether I need an adapter, male or female barb or different sized hoses, Lowe's has always had it.

I was looking for a place that I could buy a bunch of barbs cheep. I have a home depot and an ace but they both charge a ton especially if you are buying in quantity.

Well, not the most elegant solution, but you can use the white nylon ones. $.98 apiece, and I've never broken one or had one leak. You do have to watch for the mold marks on the barb side though. They'll leak if you leave those sharp bits of plasic on. (If it has them at all)
I'm using them right now on my waterblock, and they work great.
The only thing against them that I can think of is it's imposible to find the female npt ones around here. I had to hunt down the brass ones for that (my Danner pump uses one).

Have you try plumbing supply stores? You should ask a plumber he might tell you a place you can get stuff cheap. What type of temp are you getting with your setup?
