I have a vantec cck6035d on my xp1600 overclocked to 1.6 ghz. It cost me 25 bucks which is really cheap. The price is around there maybe + or - 5 bucks
my temps run around 46 full load.
And Welcome to the Forums.
I just bought the cooler master HHC-001 and i am getting 104F/40C temps under load at 1.5G on my Tbird... it would rock on your 1800+!!!! and it is only 40 buck
im thinking about buying a hhc-001 for my system im building for the main purpose to overclock..im dieing to know what fan are u using it the 7000 rpm one that comes with it and how loud is it.. also whats ur case temp because i have a case temp of about 30 to 32c and i get 43c top cpu under load with my current hsf.. do u think i should maybe get a new one or is this one all i need to overclock on my new system..

ok my temps are as such - case: 80F/27C CPU 104F/39C - full load all the time - highets peak EVER was 107F
I run the stock 7000 rpm fan with heat sink and noise is unnoticable to me. This is by far the best 40 bucks I dropped on copper!!!! The Heat Pipe technology DOES work!!!
oh yeah! I am running 1.33GHz 266FSB oc'd to 1.50GHz and 300FSB ... now look at my temps again - not bad at all for air cooled in the desert!

See my sig down there? That is on a SwiftechMC462A w/ Delta 68CFM fan. Of course I have 375CFM in the case...BUT...that Swiftech heatsink...they don't get any better than that. You can cruise on over to www.tomshardware.com (http://www.tomshardware.com) and take a look around there. If you can't find what you want at that site, then it doesn't exist. :D
Welcome to the board and good luck!
You can also check out the heatsink roundup that is linked on the front page. I like the glaciator2 It is a lot quieter than the delta I had on before.
