Hi, guys!

I'm encountering a fue problems when trying to get the most out of my CPU and was hoping for some tips.

See my hardware config at the bottom of the message.

Anyway, I am able to POST this system @ 10x150 but not able to load the OS (WinXP) when the system bus is set to 140+ or the multiplier to 10x.

When I set the FSB to 140+ I recieve errors during boot related to corrupt files on the HDD and when setting the multiplier to 10+
I get KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDELD errors.

Currently I run it rock stable at 139x9,5 (1330Mhz) with a 5v line of 4,83-5,02v and a CPU temp of 31 Idle and 42 full load.

Any ideas/suggestions on howto boot this baby @ higher speeds?

Thnx, m8es

up the vcore to 1.85 and the mem voltage to 2.7 and see how far you can get. upping vcore will raise your temps, just keep an eye on them. If you dont like how high they are, just run it as fast as it will go under default vcore or maybe 1.8V.

I would keep the FSB at the default 133 for testing and raise the multi only to see how high you can get that way, this will tell you the limitations of the chip only without bringing the pci/agp into play. Once you determine that, then you will be able to see if it is something else in the system, ie., nic card.

Thnx, guys!

I've tried to raise the multipilier to 10x at 133 FSB with no luck, and when I raise the FSB above 140 at 5,5x I start to get stability problems.

The stability problems seems to be present in the PCI/IDE chip since I get errors related to corrupt files etc.
