anyone know when the release date on this chip is?

Not specifically, but I know that it is following the KT333 chipset....and although I do know the actual date of the 333 release...I can't tell you when the Ge4 will come out. But bet that it will be very soon...most likely the end of this month...or the very begining of next month.

They are just producing it now...gotta get the stock up to hit stores. :cool:

Didn't they just release the ti500 not too long ago. Graphics cards are moving at a rate that the games can't even keep up. How many games are out right now that take full advantage of the Gforce3? It is a good thing I like to wait for a good price point before I get a card. Hopefully the price on the Gforce 3 will drop when the Gforce 4 saturates the market.

I whole heartedly agree, it wasn't until just recently that the newest games out actually started to support DirectX8. Up until this occured I never even considered upgrading my GeForce 2 Ultra:o

nope
they are announcing the chip at the end of this month and it will be on shelves in june.
Nvidia releases a new chipset every 6 months and i dont think they will change that by releasing the gf4 now :p
