Need a game suggestion for live

I found a deal on a live card and now I need to find something to use it for. I am a very casual gamer, I don't have the time to be serious about it. I just need something I can jump in and have fun with. I thought about COD4 but figure at this point I would be so far behind I would just get slaughtered. I am open to different game types(FPS, racing, etc), mainly looking for something I can get the hang of in a couple hours and be somewhat competitive. It just needs to be fun without being aggravating.

You have to start somewhere. Just take your licks and give it a shot. Halo 3, Gears, Saints Row, COD are all cool. You could also try a driving game like Forza. Burnout Paradise is cool as well.

I've been playing the Horde stuff on Gears of War 2, thats pretty insane if you get the right group of people together. Just depends on what your taste are.

Yeah, it's a sweet deal. I picked up a copy yesterday. I got COD4 for $35 on the 360 at Best Buy shortly after it was released. It's weird that both times the deal was only for the 360 version.

I just got it, and actually walked through the snow twice to get it. The first time they gave me the PC version and I didn't notice that until I got home, I made sure it had a green case this time. My car was stuck on ice this morning, so it's been walking for me today...my back is killing me. :p

Yah Call of Duty WaW is fun but I think I still like CoD4 the best. I'm also getting Halo 3 for x-mas. Kind of behind but I love any type of FPS and HALO3 seems like a good choice.

I actually didn't like Gears 2 that much because I guess after playing Call of Duty I'm use to not having to unload a whole clip in a guy to kill him or to almost kill him and then have him run away. I do like the gore though in it and the graphics are sweet.

Just a little update. I have had COD WAW for a bit over a week now and this game is just stupid fun. I only played the single player for about a half hour to get the hang of the controls and jumped online. I suck but man it is fun. I don't have much experience with FPS to start with but I am slowly but surly getting the hang of it. I think I am up around level 16 now. Best money I have spent in a while.

Get gears of war 2 if you still can, i've been playing that game since it came out online and never stopped. its so fun and now my pc isn't playing that much games lol
