Increasing multiplier more than .5

Hey,

I have overclocked my pc's fsb for some time but have never tried to overclock the multiplier.
Only yesterday I did this for the first time but for some reason I can only take it up by .5, any more than this and the system doesn’t re-boot.
I then have to switch it off and on again at the main socket before it re-boots, but when it does it registers the CPU frequency as 800, even though the multiplier is still set at 9.

I used graphite to unlock the CPU.

well ...........it means that ou do not have a good connection across one of the L1 bridges....................clean them all off and do it again ...............test it...............if no go do it all again................
