Just wondering if anybody knows when Metal Gear Solid 2 comes out?? Just finishing the first one again and now have the urge to play the second. :D

REALY???? It hasn't come out in Australia yet. That how far we are behind everybody!! :mad: :mad: Thats what I hate about Australia. We are one of the first countries to start the new day, yet we are behind just about everyone else!! Oh well. I think its comming out soon. Hey Wa11y, what is it like?? Any good?? Is it better that the first??

It's better graphically and gameplay than the first. The story is good, but kinda confusing. Just remember: it's only a story. Meant to entertain.

It's a lot shorter. THe game is, anyway. I beat it on Normal in about 15 hours of gameplay. Then I went back and beat it on Easy in about 5 hours. But there are LOTS of movies in the game. And the timer doesn't count the movies into your gameplay time. And there's a side quest where you have to capture dog tags off soldiers. Not easy.

All told, I really enjoyed it. The graphics were impressive (most of the movies were done with in-game graphics). The story was amusing, the gameplay was great. And there were lots of little fun things (one of the cardboard boxes you get is for Zone of Enders, another game by Kojima-san, and another box is for McFarlane Toys, who did the Metal Gear Solid 2 action figures). I just wish it had been a 2-disc set like the first game. But it didn't have a rushed feeling. The game ended just as the story ended. Perfect timing. I just wish there were more gameplay.

my brother got this game for xmas

its cool and fun but my god wont they shut up
there are like 8 30 min movie scenese in this game it and there are some you cant get buy

witch really sucks when you get really far but forget to save and then the power goes out so you have to watch them all over again

also it didnt take to long to beat only acouple of days

Couldn't you skip the movie sceens like in number one?? I suppose you didn't want to because then you wouldn't know what was going on in the game. Oh well, I suppose they build up the atmosphere and get the adrenalin running... :D
