I saw this and after reading the review from the techreport http://techreport.com/articles.x/15363/1 I am interested I've had my D-Max 10 for a few years now and it's getting louder to be honest.

Now that may sound stupid to some but it does and since I've upgraded the rest of my PC I feel a new HDD is needed too. A raptor is out the question cheapest is £150 for a 74GB model I just need a bit more space and the WD Black looks like the winner.

Anyone else got one of these also another question does HDD cache really make a dam difference I always thought it benifits small files.

I've ordered 1 hopefully performance will be even better thinking about using my 250gb as a 2nd slave drive.

I have the blue and it's an awesome drive. They say the black is even better.

Go for it, you won't be dissapointed.

My two new 640's didn't have a jumper on them, were they suppose to?

No. But sometimes they do and you need to remove them.
