OK so I want to get more out of this Sapphire 4870. I tried ATI tool but there is a problem with the digitally signed driver. Rivatuner doesn't seem to be able to adjust voltaages. Bottom line- What application will get the job done, I anticipate having to raise voltage a little bit to get a nice OC.....?

So far I've been using CCC Overdrive, but we all know it's not too good. I want to be able to push the card further. I was reading on XS about how to disable the driver signing thing and ATI tool will work but the process of steps has to be done every re-boot. There has to be a utility that can OC and adjust the voltages on these cards?!?!?!?!

I just use riva tuner. The latest RT from guru3d has the driver signing with it if your on vista 64. As for voltages, that requires a bios flash. Radeon Bios Editor is what your looking for there. You can go upto 1.2v i believe before you need to hardmod.

But ya, RT all the way. No limits on the OC, has the fan control, and a single click to save your settings and have it load at startup.

The best way to adjust voltage is hard mod, meaning pencil or using wires + resister. Alternatively, as cluster said, soft mod. Also known as bios mod.

Agreed on rivatuner.
