Does anyone have any experience overclocking with the new Koolance case? http://www.overclockers.com/articles457/

I am very interested in it since it would take me quite a while to mod a case to incorporate all those features. However it looks like the case lacks enough coolant flow to cool an OCed AMD(I don?t know if I am going to get a XP or wait for the next chip) . It only uses 1/4 in tubing, and the review reports temps of over 50c CPU back temps with a non OCed T-Bird while running Prime 95.

If the lack of coolant flow is the issue, is there any easy way to mod this case the allow for higher flow rate without loosing the temperature control circuit for noise control? I really like that feature.

welcome to the forums

this case is not new, lot of people have it on the forums, not me however. apparently they are good cases.

the cooling is great and the pipe size seems to be no problem when compared to a home made system

the temparture control circut has nothing to do with the system flow as it uses a thermal diode, you can make on of these for your self here http://www.bit-tech.net/article/52/ if you want. the lagerst problem with the case seems to be the pumps which are not powerfull enough and should be replaced with a ehiem for best performance
