[RED Hot Machine]

I am having a problem getting the keyboard to work on my brothers machine while playing MM2.

The mouse works ok in the game, but no joy with the keyboard. I've check microsofts site and it mentioned about problems with APM. I disabled it in bios and windows but still no joy.

Has anyone got any ideas, spec as below.

Standard PS2 Keyboard

Windows 2000 Pro sp2
Directx 8.1

I'm not sure I'm much help to ya. But on my machine if I am touching anything on the keyboard or mouse while the game first starts I'm not able to use the keyboard either. But if I double click the desktop icon and let go of the mouse and don't touch any keys on the keyboard it works fine. Not sure why this is just always been that way.
