i bought one the other day and it should be here at the end of the week or on monday.
i called them to confirm the stepping and it is the cD0 stepping. and i asked if theres a garuntee that i would get that and the guy said that the cD0 is the only stepping of that processor they carry.
great price too! :)

i noticed that star components is in CA, i live in canada. do they ship there? how long does it take?

You might give them a call and see if they ship to Canada. If they don't, then get in touch with a friend that lives in the US and have them get it for you. I looked at star-components yesterday and they are selling them for $134.

134$ US is about 215$ CDN....
thats less that i would buy a 1ghz EB for!!!

Plus you stand a very good chance of running it on a 133 fsb or maybe even higher. Those chips overclock pretty well.
