SB0570 or SB0730? - Headphone or 2.1 use only

Curious if I will notice a different between the SB0570 or SB0730 for headphone or 2.1 use? I won't be using anything more than this.

The first card isn't even a real XFI and sounds horrible.

DEFINITELY the 730. (Xfi Xtreme Gamer)

If you're going to just game, that's fine. If you're gonna game, watch movies, and listen to music, try to find an Xfi Xtreme Music kicking around somewhere. Discontinued but great deal.

If you can only choose between 570 and 730, then go 730. 570 is a joke. Have used both.

I'm in a similar situation. All i have is some 2.1 speakers and I just ordered Plantronics .Audio 365 Stereo Gaming Headset. I'm using the onboard of the Mobo listed below. Is it really going to make a huge difference? have i just gotten used to crappy sound that i perceive as "okay?"
