I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on whether either of these blocks is better than the other? Also, Anyone know if they would fit my mobo's NB fittings? thnx :)

Save yourself $5

http://www.svc.com/mcw30.html

mcw30 will do fine for your northbridge, and has low restriction.

thanks ... just my luck, that site is out of stock:

"The Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Cooler for AMD and Intel (3/8" and 1/2" barbs) is not currently available. Please contact us for availability of this item."

But at least Microcenter is close to me though, so I would save on shipping.

Sorry, it looked like it was in stock until you add it to your cart.

Jab-tech has the MCW30 in stock (http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCW30-Chipset-cooler-pr-3251.html) for $24.95 if you want it. I can attest to the fact that it's a very good nb block.

good choice :) and only 24! don't forget to change out the plastic barbs to some nice high flow metal ones.
