I started producing WU's over the weekend by clicking on the seti driver .exe only. I used to run setispy. It seems to me in the last 2 days of running seti driver by itself i'm producing completed WU's faster than ever. My average is right around 3.5 hours per WU and now it seems to be 3 hours. Since i'm not running setispy their isn't any new updates to my seti log file so i can't see if maybe the AR's are high lately.
How many WU's did you do with Seti Drive to conclude that it maybe faster?
I'll try that to see if its any faster since I'm desperate for the half an hour or so hehe.
It may have been you got a better angle than the other WU's.

I am not using Setispy either, for similar reasons: I wanted to be able to monitor all my networked crunchers on one pc so started using MultiSetiMonitor and after a while realized that all the functions of SetiSpy that I used were also there.
I see a small decrease in how long a wu takes over a period of time without setispy, but my rough guess is a couple of wu a year.
But I have MultiSetiMonitor instead where you just have Seti Driver.
I've been running this way for a few months, but I haven't really tested it out, just a w.a.g.!
