I'm looking for a touchscreen cell phone since they seem to be the big hype today and I would like a mp3 player and camera integrated into it. Currently my carrier is T-Mobile so ideally I would like a phone built around this carrier so I don't have to change my phone number.
I was looking at the Samsung Behold, is this a good phone? Ideally I would want to listen to mp3s for about 3 hours, not have some software needed to load mp3 onto it (store via flash), a good touchscreen interface for texting / notewritting, and a decent resolution camera (right now mine is 620x480... 0.3 megapixel?)
You may want to try out a touchscreen phone a bit before taking the plunge. I carry an AT&T Tilt due to job requirements and I like it but I almost never use the touchscreen for input. I use the buttons, 4-way and scroll wheel almost exclusively and never use anything but the slide out keyboard for input. I can't stand using the onscreen keyboard.
Unlike chadrh, I never use the input keyboards on smartphones, but rather use caligrapher (http://www.phatware.com/calligrapher/)for text recognition as my primary input.
I chose the HTC Touch (http://www.htc.com/www/product.ASPx?id=356), as it is the smallest and lightest of current offerings and does NOT have an input keyboard.
The touch has a 2 megapixel camera and uses Windows 6.1, so the interface is drag -and-drop within Windows. MP3 playback is done via Windows Media Player, but keep in mind that you'll need to use the included adapter to connect your headphones, as there's no headphone jack on the unit itself.

Really I don't want a smartphone because I want to have to get a data package plan (I don't need internet). Ideally I want just a touchscreen phone with good mp3, camera, and talk capabilities.

Check with your service provider; most offer plans without data, or will accommodate you. The price on the touch now is hard to beat...
