format hard drive with windows?

i want to format myhard drive, but its the hard drive that has windows on it. if i format it, what will happen to my system?

Formatting will erase the hard drive... ALL DATA WILL BE LOST... it even says that too:p The operating system, games, apps.. everything will be gone... As if you just took it out of the factory... No windows... no nothing. Backup everything you want to keep before formatting. Backup--->Format--->Reinstall Operating System (Windows)--->Reinstall backed up stuff...;)
