Anyone here understand AGP driving values and what they do? My mobo manual says nothing about them. Would they affect overclockability, etc. Thanks
Usually you want to leave AGP Driving Value set to Auto. "The Manual mode allows you to manually select the AGP output buffer drive strength." I found that explanation in my Shuttle AK31 book...hope it helps... :D:beer:
Stability on video card oc. Supposedly 0xDA to 0xEA are claimed to be OK by Abit. Second hand quote there. I however do use EA on mine. Others have reported better stability with 00 or FF. I can't say for sure though on my board with the Leadtek Pro it was more stable with EA.:)

thanks for the responses.
I'm at DA now and it is stable at 2x AGP bus is at 75mhz. The reason I was wondering is that at AGP 66mhz, I can run in 4x (clocking back to 900mhz) but still dropped 3Dmark score because of lower FSB. Also cannot get sidebanding to work (blank screen on boot). I tried a few random settings between DA and EA and got some graphical anomalies. So apparently this does not serve to increase any voltage or anything, only timings right?
I suggest you look at this thread (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59253).

Go to RojackPot's BIOS guide and it explains it better, there are better settings for different cards.
