please clarify this for me. is there any aluminium in connection with the cooling fluid in apogee GTZ block? i think i'm going to have an argument with my friend about this and i'd like to have some facts for him.

None at all. And I happen to own 2 of them.

no. there is no aluminum in the apogee gtz block, it is made out of a copper base and housing is CNC machined out of durable Delrin material

there is in the Apogee GTX though. maybe thats what your thinking or friend is?

Yeah, the older GTX used an anodized aluminum top on it, IIRC. That was the main reason I stayed away from it. Even though the anodizing is supposed to keep any galvanic corrosion from happening, the slightest scratch on the anodizing will leave a spot for the corrosion to start.
The GTX came with a nickel plated aluminum top but not the GTZ.
