what does it mean when you have a green dot in the eye glass over the icon in seti spy....what about a red dot?

Here is a brief description...

White Dot - nothing found yet.
Red Dot - found a signal
Green/Blue dot - interesting signal founden

The dot will be white at the start of a work unit.

It will almost always turn red at one point during crunching.

The blue/green (depends on your monitor/resolution) is the one to watch for. This is a signal that will be returned to the SETI center for further checking.

Yep, as Wookie said the green dots are the ones that you are going to try to catch.....but I have crunched 1120 WU until this day and found only 1 intersting gaussian so far.
